High Country Home Energy Makeover Contest
I began my partnership with Appalachian Voices in 2014. Energy savings and energy cost burden reduction are important components of Appalachian Voices’ mission to reduce environmental harm and improve the lives of those who have called Appalachia home for generations.
Since then, I've done paid as well as pro bono work for App Voices Home Energy Makeover Contest as well as other Energy Saving Outreach and Advocacy campaigns. I'm not a policy expert like the folks over there, but I am able to lend a skilled eye in identifying the best ways to help improve the homes and lives of the people who benefit directly from these activities. The folks at App Voices are great to work with, and I have really enjoyed getting to know the homeowners they have worked with, too. I hope to continue to be a resource for App Voices in the future.
